Sa grand-mère, Julia vd Donkhoeve, est la sœur de Kapucijn vd Donkhoeve, classé jusqu’à 1,50m. Elle est également à l’origine de plusieurs chevaux de sport confirmés, parmi lesquels Impress-K van ’t Kattenheye, performer international classé jusqu’à 1,65m. Cette souche maternelle belge, particulièrement prolifique, a produit de nombreux performers internationaux jusqu’à 1,60m, parmi lesquels Allegro van de Donkhoeve et Don Juan van de Donkhoeve.
